Norwood Park Golf Centre in Southwell, already nationally recognised by England Golf for their initiatives to help ‘grow the game’, this week opened their EZ Easy Golf on their par three course using 15ins holes in association with TaylorMade.

“The par three course has been re-designed to incorporate shorter EZ tees and the 15ins holes positioned on the greens away from the normal holes,” said Norwood’s TMAG staff player Rob Macey.

“It gives the players more choice and is ideal for beginners and juniors wanting to make the transition from the driving range on to the course without making it too difficult.

“I first saw this in the USA at an event sponsored by TaylorMade and, to our knowledge, we are the first in the country to be using the 15ins holes.”
