Oldham boss Bunn impressed by rampant Mansfield Town
The Latics remain unbeaten away from home this season but had to survive a one-sided barrage from the Stags.
Bunn said: “It wasn’t pretty was it? But I commend Mansfield.

Hide Ad“They came at us right from the first whistle and we couldn’t contain them.
“I think we panicked a bit in the first half and went a bit direct, getting the ball forward too early. Therefore they kept coming back at us.
“But, to be fair to us, we’ve gone in 0-0 at half-time which speaks volumes for the players.”
He added: “We conceded a bundle of goals last season but you can see so far this season that has been eradicated.

Hide Ad“The spirit and determination, when under the cosh, to come through the other side, was terrific.
“We are a unit. We are unified – everyone will defend and everyone is together.
“When you are put into a bit of adversity you have to deal with it.
“Sometimes it’s not your day with the ball. It wasn’t today, but we kept a clean sheet.

“This will be a difficult place to come to and our last two games have been the best teams we’ve played so far and look to be the better teams in the league.”
