Opposition view: York City prepare for a battle against Mansfield Town
Struggling City are currently third bottom in League Two and will be desperate to put one over on Stags.
But Wilcox knows that the Mistermen will need to battle all the way and match Mansfield’s physical approach if they are to be victorious.

“There is no right or wrong way to play football, and the way Mansfield play is very effective for them.
“Mansfield are difficult to play against and we will have to combat the long ball and long throws.
“If we can do this and get in to our passing grove, we have a great opportunity to take three points.”

Stags are searching for their first win in six following a poor run of two defeats, three draws and just one goal in that time.
Mansfield are likely to come across former winger Lindon Meikle, who signed for York after leaving Stags in the summer.
