The event at Mansfield’s Towers also heard the announcement of some exciting new ideas for Miss Mansfield.
Miss Mansfield director Trish Mapletoft said the night was fabulous and a great success.

“We had a couple of former Miss Mansfields from the 90s and some great feedback. We also had interest from potential new sponsors.”
Trish said she also unveiled plans for a new Princess Camp - a fun, non-competitive way for young girls between the ages of 5-11 years old to gain life skills.
She added: “The club meets during the weekend and girls learn about how to walk, public speaking, dancing and music lessons and just play some fun games.

This year marks Miss Mansfield’s 40th birthday and while its critics dismiss it as sexist and demeaning, Trish believes it is quite the opposite.
She said: “I have a teenage daughter myself and she sees so many things on TV that put women in a bad light, like music videos with scantily-clad women gyrating round a rapper.
“Young women and even toddlers are able to see pop stars behaving in this way on a daily basis and people think it is Ok for 5-6 year-old to see that and then criticise Miss Mansfield which does not promote it in any way.
