Sutton athlete Gary is halfway through his 12 marathon challenge
Gary Bird completeld his sixth marathon in his 2015 mission to help raise funds for charity Cardiac Risk in the Young.
Gary, a member of Sutton Harriers Running Club ran the Derbyshire White Peak Full Marathon.

He decided to take on the mammoth challenge in memory of Luke Morton - who died in February, 2013, aged just 20.
Luke’s tragic death was caused suddenly by a genetic disorder which triggered a disturbance in the electrical current in his body.
There is a simple screening process which shows whether a person has genetics for sudden cardiac arrest syndrome to occur - which is not currently compulsory on the NHS.
