MANSFIELD: Public support for new studio school
Around 110 people responded to the consultation organised by West Nottinghamshire College, who want to set up the Vision Studio School at its Chesterfield Road campus.
It came after the proposed school was given permission to enter its pre-opening stage by the Secretary of State for Education earlier this year, after previously approving the college’s application.

Almost 95 per cent of people who completed the consultation were in favour of the school.
Principal Andy Campbell said: “Respondents were particularly positive about the school’s work-related element and the opportunities it will afford young people.”
