Hucknall man charged with drugs offences

A Hucknall man will appear at Nottingham Crown Court next month charged with possession with intent to supply class A drugs.

Romari Blackwood, 21, of Ogle Street, was arrested last weekend after being spotted acting suspiciously by officers on Portland Road in Hucknall.

Class A drugs including crack cocaine and a sum of cash were then recovered in a search.

Blackwood is also charged with further counts of possession with intent to supply class A drugs and class B drugs as part of an investigation into the recovery of drugs from a house in 2019.

He appeared at Nottingham Magistrates Court this week where he was remanded into custody to appear at Nottingham Crown Court on May 10.
