Could you give a dog a home?
Taz, Gizmo and Buddy are all currently being cared for at the Gerry Green Rescue Centre and have so far been overlooked for a second chance to call a home their own.
Ryan O’Meara, co-founder of DogsBlog.com said: “With dog abandonment continuing to rise, we’re hoping National Dog Adoption Month can help to show dogs in
rescues centres in a different light.

National Dog Adoption month is a new initiative organised in conjunction with Warsop-based DogsBlog and Co-operative Insurance.
It aims to highlight the benefits of adopting a dog from one of the UK’s many animal shelters as well as promoting the concept and advantages of taking on a dog from a re-homing organisation.
Research shows that over half (59 per cent) of dog owners from the East Midlands bring a dog into their home for the companionship, while almost a third (27 per cent) admit it’s to help them get active and exercise more.
