Winger Smith back in the fold

WINGER Mark Smith completed his return to Hucknall Town when he signed a deal before the washout at Fleetwood Town.
Smith had been on trial at Watnall Road under the watchful eye of Mick Galloway and Andy Miller throughout pre-season. And now he is back at the club he left in 2005 when he joined Belper Town.
Right-winger Smith (24) was in The Yellows side, under Dean Barrick, that enjoyed a magical FA Trophy run in 2004/05 and played in the final at Villa Park.
Meanwhile Galloway and Miller have decided to release young left-winger David Durrant.
The speedy Durrant (18) impressed in three substitute-appearances during pre-season but the managers believe his first-team opportunities would be limited at Watnall Road.
But they will continue to monitor him and have left the door open for a possible return should he progress.
