A DISABLED Hucknall man has been the victim of a vicious knife-attack.
The 42-year-old victim, who does not want to be identified, was slashed on the arm in a robbery by two youths.

The man, who claims he was also kicked in the throat, needed treatment at King's Mill Hospital, Sutton-in-Ashfield.

He says he was walking with a stick to a chemist's shop in the Watnall Road area when he was set on by the two white youths at about 1.30 pm last Friday (July 11). He was robbed of a watch and other belongings.

The victim was accompanied by his 20-year-old son, who was forced to the ground.

"It happened without any warning," says the man. "It has made me frightened to go out any more."

Anyone with information is asked to contact the police on 0115 9670999 or 'Crimestoppers' confidentially on 0800 555111.
