Popular Mozart opera is coming to Mansfield
Swansea City Opera, a company that has been critically-acclaimed for their comic opera performances, are bringing the show to town on Sunday 23rd March.
One of the finest operas ever written, The Marriage of Figaro features sublime music and well-known arias.

This performance is accompanied by a pre-performance talk from Artistic Director, Brendan Wheatley.
He will provide an insight into Mozart, The Marriage of Figaro production, as well as the trials and tribulations of touring opera the length and breadth of the country.

Hide AdWith a plot full of intrigue, The Marriage of Figaro recounts a single day in the palace of the Count Almaviva in Spain.
The Count has designs on one of his maids, Susanna, who is going to be married to Figaro, the Count’s valet.
Figaro, Susanna, and the Countess conspire to embarrass the Count and expose his infidelity.
At night, all find themselves on the palace grounds, where a comic series of cases of mistaken identity results.
